MKJB holds graduation night

“Transforming MKJB into a centre of excellence in engineering to meet challenges of the 21st century” Jefri Bolkiah College of Engineering recently saw over 140 students graduate the 2006-2008 intake with excellence.
This was noted by the chairperson of graduation night Hjh Salenawati Hj Md Saji yesterday evening during the MKJB Graduation night which was held at the Holiday Lodge Hotel to show the school’s appreciation for the efforts put up by the students throughout the years.
According to Hjh Salenawati the students have done so much to raise the name of the school that this year one of the students was recognised by the Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Among the excellent students who were awarded last night were Yong Tham Fook from the National Diploma Course in Electrical and Electronics Engineering course, Mohd Adib for his efforts in CIPTA 2009 and several other students for their involvement in Inforama 2008.
The ceremony yesterday was attended by the Acting Principal of MKJB Alias Hj Abu Bakar together with other senior staff and instructors from the school.
The ceremony also congratulated the efforts of students who were chosen as among the best throughout the year both academically and personally.
A slideshow reminiscing the year was also part of yesterday’s programme along with a cake cutting ceremony.
The day’s event saw students and teachers alike saying goodbye to each other and taking photos to etch the event into memory.
